About the Course: This two-day defensive driving course trains candidates to become EverSafe Driving Instructors. Training sessions emphasize the interaction of driver, equipment, and environment. Implementing policies, maintaining records, and supervisory techniques are also covered. Course fee covers instructor materials, continental breakfast and lunch.

Note: Certified instructors are required to purchase a participant guide for each person they train (one certification card is included with each participant guide), which start at $4.35 per guide. Some orders will qualify for a quantity discount. ESC members receive a discount on all book orders.

Location: Spokane, WA

Date: July 11-12, 2011

Course Fee: $415.00 Members of Evergreen Safety Council , $465.00 Non-Members

  1. Our Executive Director Tom Odegaard recently visited with some of our Eastern Washington members. Each mentioned a desire for training on their side of the mountains.

    We are starting with our EverSafe Instructor class in Spokane. What other course would you like to see offered in Eastern Washington?

  2. hanks for reading and commenting. I take your point, generally you will have a bit of a buffer due to the other vehicle’s braking distance. But consider this example that was given during the course.
    Admittedly, worst case scenario, but certainly not implausible.
